Porter X Stone Island
PORTER and Stone Island’s February 2019 release consists of three bags: a duffle, bum bag and backpack.
For the project, Stone Island utilized its Man Made Suede-TC, a non-woven fabric made with nylon microfibers and polyurethane resins, a material that is then injected with resins and coagulated. After processing, the fabric is lightened through washes dissolving the polyethylene, resulting in the final suede aspect.
The duffle, bum bag and backpack boast a garment dyed finish, then featuring a laser print of Stone Island’s signature compass logo. Each bag is made in Japan by PORTER and dyed in Italy by Stone Island.
